SOETTA : Terminal 3

I blogged in to post this kinda 'oldish' article but still encourageously pull me to write down. Actually I had been in passion to do thing just almost few months ago, but postponed for unreliable reason, fainted it away from my mind and just now has been revived.

Well, apparently airport means for plotting some airlines and taxing people go-and-in. But it soon extended to go beyond multifunctional venue. I see the development of the biggest airport in this country [read: Indonesia Raya Merdeka] is immediate thus SOETTA been widen since high demand and traffic growing faster every year. Indeed Airport Council International has put this airport as the Most Busiest Airport by Passenger Traffic 2010 in region of South East Asia followed by Suvarnabhumi Airport (Thailand) and Changi Airport (S'pore) respectively. Even so ranked 5th in Asia below Beijing Capital, Narita Tokyo, Hongkong Int., and Dubai Airport.

So, the presence of Terminal 3 for Low-Cost Airlines such Air Asia Indonesia (domestic) and Mandala Air is hoped to answer at least. But now only Air Asia (QZ) alone operates at T3 due to striking status of Mandala Air.

Though Terminal 3 has been operated, but apparently it's not such significant solving. Thus the government plans to build the new Terminal 4 in 2020 (long time later).

For design, T3 looks different rather than its ancestors, T1 and T3. which stand with very Indonesia form. The material concept is environmental friendly through its open-up light system with glass or other transparent stuffs surrounding. But it still looks ordinary from outside (design is plain) though inside is almost good.
